    Adult & Pediatric Diabetes Care Center at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento

    Sutter's Diabetes Care Center provides the continuum of care for all patients with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. The programs, recognized by the American Diabetes Association, empower patients to take charge of their health care by working with patients and their families to design a treatment plan that works for them. The patient works with an interdisciplinary team that may consist of the patient’s physician, certified diabetes educators (CDE’s), dietitions, nurses, social workers, exercise physiologist, and pharmacists to help patients live full and healthy lives.     Diabetes Program for Children & Adolescents offered through Sutter Children's Services

    The Diabetes Program for Children and Adolescents is an interdisciplinary program dedicated to promoting optimal growth and health in children and adolescents with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Each child is treated as a unique individual by a team of pediatric diabetic specialists that include pediatric endocrinologists, nurse educators, pediatric nutritionists and pediatric social workers.   Click here to learn more.

    Sweet Success - Gestational Diabetes Program offered through Sutter Women's Services

    Sweet Success, part of Sutter Diabetes Care Center, is a program for pregnant women who were previously known to be diabetic with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes or who develop diabetes during pregnancy. The program was established in 1985 and serves as the regional program for 23 counties in northeastern California.    Click here to learn more.
